Where the Naragh meat comes from
HOW BEEF GETS TO YOUR BUSINESS
1. Betting, cutting
Our cattle are free-range grazing, fattened on GMO-free feed produced on our own land. The animals arrive at the slaughter unit on foot, so there is no need to transport live animals and slaughter is stress-free. Animal welfare rules are followed to the letter to minimise stress until stunning. Thanks to our modern equipment and professional staff, slaughter is a quick, gentle and hygienic process.
2. Processing
While preserving the quality of the meat, we can also meet traditional and modern gastronomic needs with our products. Our commercial policy is to produce to order, thus avoiding stock accumulation. This means that our products are always fresh and of reliable quality. To ensure that our activities are environmentally sound, we use renewable energy sources to run our plant.
3. Packaging
Using modern packaging machines, we can offer a wide range of packaging sizes, from 100 gram packs to multi-kilogram packages. Thanks to our enterprise management system, product identification and traceability is ensured from the live animal to the sold product.
4. Refrigeration, storage
The continuity of the cold chain is ensured throughout the production process, with multiple control points. In addition to the classic refrigeration processes, we also use the shock freezing method in our production technology, in line with modern food quality requirements, to preserve product quality.
5. Transport
We always deliver fresh products four times a week to the capital and to rural locations. This guarantees that our partners receive their high-quality meat products within 4 days of placing their order. The products are vacuum-packed and delivered to the specified address in a refrigerated truck.
